THE BEST PAVING JOB I HAVE EVER SEEN. Nelson and his team were meticulous in all aspects of the job. Very clean, careful, respectful workers. The owner Nelson was professional and helpful from the start. He listened to my requirements (must be reasonably priced, pitched correctly with no water intrusion, no puddling, proper borders. He made professional, logical suggestions.
They started relatively quickly (Signed contract 4/1, started May 1, completed June 5), quick given all of the rain we had). - BE PATIENT - LET IT SETTLE!
He used significant cement under my Belgium Block Curb Apron, raising the height of my apron (the town raised the street at last repaving).
They reused my old Belgium Blocks to save money. BE PATIENT AND DRIVE ON THE RCA for 4 weeks to pack it in. Also, after asphalt, DO NOT DRIVE ON IT FOR 10 days, especially in the hot weather. LET IT CURE!!!
RELIABLE had the best price out of 4 quotes I received. His quote was significantly lower than the LARGE, FAMOUS company (Call it company "A") whom I used (20 years ago and watched grass grow through my asphalt after a few years - Big A never fixed it - they are too busy doing commercial paving these days). Contact RELIABLE for my address to see the great job that they did on my house in Sayville!!!
I was nervous about redoing our patio because I’ve had bad experiences with other contractors, but this team completely exceeded my expectations. Their paver selection was massive, and they took the time to explain which styles would hold up best in areas that get a lot of sun like ours. What really impressed me was how precise their work was—every edge and joint looked flawless, almost like art. They even went out of their way to check back after everything settled just to make sure we were happy. It’s rare these days to find professionals who care as much about the little details as you do.
